What is Education ?

Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include teaching, training, storytelling, discussion and directed research. 

Education, discipline that is concerned with methods of teaching and learning in schools or school-like environments as opposed to various non formal and informal means of socialization (e.g., rural development projects and education through parent-child relationships)

Education goes beyond what takes places within the four walls of the classroom. A child gets the education from his experiences outside the school as well as from those within on the basis of these factors. 

There are three main types of education, namely, Formal, Informal and Non-formal.
